New bus departures between Somero and Salo on Sundays from 1 February

There will be new Sunday bus departures on routes 200–202 between Somero and Salo from 1 February. Until now, the routes have run only on weekdays. The new departures are based on feedback from residents and make weekend travel easier. The additional departures are funded by the City of Somero.

On Sundays, buses depart from Somero to Salo at 14.45 and 16.45, and from Salo to Somero at 15.25 and 17.25. The timetables have been coordinated so that transfer connections at the Piihovi stops in Salo currently work smoothly in both directions. Passengers travelling from Somero can continue their journey from Piihovi on long-distance bus services towards Helsinki without long waiting times. Passengers travelling from Helsinki towards Somero can in turn transfer smoothly at Piihovi to Somero’s regional bus services. In Salo city centre passengers also have onward and transfer connections by train towards Helsinki and Turku.

The new departures are shown in the journey planner and timetable service at seutuplus.fi when you select the correct timetable period. Single tickets as well as Seutu+ season and serial tickets are valid on these departures. Single tickets can be purchased on board the bus with cash or card.
